Zechariah's Song: The Benedictus

Christ brings light into the darkest parts of our lives. He is the dayspring which bursts forth from the night. Zechariah praised God for his promised salvation displayed in Christ- who came to dwell with his people and them from darkness. When we see the love of Christ and how we have been declared righteous in Christ- it enables us to serve God without fear and with joy.
