Passage: 1 Thess. 2:6-12
The Gospel involves us being a spiritual parent to others - calling them to be transformed by the power of the Gospel. This involves giving up any special rights or privileges, sharing our inner selves, and tailoring instruction and encouragement to the needs of others. We should call others to live to God's standards and for his purposes!
