The Faithful Sower

Jesus said some puzzling things, especially when he began to talk in parables. When people listen to Jesus' words, there is a spiritual sifting that takes place. Are they responsive to his message or have their ears become dull and their hearts become hard? Parables serve as a sign of mercy and a sign of judgment. God alone grants how and when he will reveal himself to us- by his grace.
