The Essence of Worship, Part 1

God created us for a relationship with him. Once that relationship was broken, he initiated a restored relationship and provided the only means by which that relationship could be restored: the perfect life and acceptable sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He has become both the object and agent of our worship. Our worship is only possible because of God's provision through an act of grace.
