Christ Community Church is offering Vacation Bible School this summer. The program, Genesis 1: Space Probe, will begin at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13th. It is for children ages 4 through completed 5th grade. The dates for VBS are Tuesday - Thursday (July 13th - 15th) and Tuesday - Thursday (July 20th - 22nd). Space is limited, so please register ahead of time. The link below will access the registration forms which can be printed and returned to the church either by mail or dropping them off at the church office or in the drop box located just outside the front door of the church.. What is the Church? What does it mean to live as a follower of Jesus Christ? What's my role in God's kingdom work?

Come find answers to these questions and learn more about the EFCA on Sundays March 15, 22, and 29. This is a class for anyone new to the church. If you desire to become a member, you need to take this class.

Christ Community Church will be hosting Financial Peace University courses to help you control your finances, instead of the other way around. Join us Sunday, February 1, at 11:30 for a preview of the program.

Christ Community Church will host a Financial Peace University class, beginning in February. Financial Peace University is part of the ministry of Dave Ramsey. It provides tools and resources for individuals and families to gain control of their finances, work their way out of indebtedness and gain financial freedom. Pastor Jim Folk was quoted in a recent article in the Ocala Star Banner. The article was printed on Christmas Eve and described Christmas Eve services at several local churches, including Christ Community Church. The article can be read here.

Christ Community Church will be holding a Christmas Eve service at 6:30pm. Please come join us as we prepare our hearts to celebrate Christmas.

This coming Friday - Aug. 8, the church will have an ice cream social and pool party at the Woodland Villages club house. Ken and Barb Whitehead and Sam and Claudia Fanek have invited us to come and cool off from the summer heat.

Christ Community Church is happy to announce that they will be moving their services, beginning on July 13, 2008. Services will be held at 37 Dogwood Road, in Ocala. The church is thankful that it has been blessed with an opportunity to purchase a building.

Map and Directions.

There will be a congregational meeting on Sunday, June 15, after church. As announced on June 1, the meeting will be to vote to approve the bylaws that have been adopted by the Interim Leadership Team and to approve the proposed purchase of a building, including mortgage financing to help fund the purchase.

During June and July, we will have membership classes on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:30pm. These classes will be in lieu of our normal home fellowship meetings.

The classes will be a great time to meet folks from other home fellowship groups and learn about the history and doctrine of the EFCA.

The location will be announced shortly. The specific dates of the classes will be June 22, 18, and 25; and July 9, 16, and 23.
